All testing sessions are conducted under the strict supervision of on-site professional Fire Rescue and EMS personnel. NASA fire rescue is located at the south end of the runway, on-site 24/7.

Full-time weather information is available from the on-site Air Traffic Control Tower. Runway lights are fully adjustable to accommodate driver needs for all-night testing.
